Jessica Nicole Maldonado is a dynamic vocalist, storyteller, and performer hailing proudly from Texas. With over a decade of professional experience, Jessica’s journey began at just three years old when she discovered her passion for storytelling and music. She took her first steps onto the stage through church worship and contemporary Christian music—sparking a lifelong love for using her voice to move and inspire.
At 17, she launched her professional career at Six Flags Fiesta Texas, quickly becoming at home in front of live audiences, from intimate stages to amphitheaters with more than 3,000 guests. Her powerful, versatile voice spans a wide array of genres, including Pop, Country, Motown, Broadway, Latin, Worship, and Rock.
Jessica’s path led her to the nationally renowned Sight & Sound Theatres, where she stepped into the role of Queen Esther—a performance that reached millions around the globe through livestream and helped land the cast album in Billboard’s Top 10 in 2020. It was there she discovered a deep love for acting and immersive storytelling. She later returned to star as Bathsheba in David, a production nominated for Best Inspirational Album at the 2022 Dove Awards.
In 2024, Jessica came back to her roots in San Antonio to pursue her solo music career and dive into songwriting. She currently leads worship in both English and Spanish at local churches, continuing to uplift and connect with audiences through faith and music. Her debut single, “At Your Feet,” premiered in the short film The Anointing, which was nominated for Best Short Film at the Christian Worldview Film Festival. She also penned “Everlasting,” a heartfelt country/worship anthem featured in the documentary about Herman Mendoza’s life, which premiered in New York and was nominated for Best Documentary.
With more original music on the horizon, Jessica is just getting started. Her commitment to encouraging and inspiring others through every note, lyric, and performance remains the driving force behind her artistry—and the best is yet to come.
